Giffin is 19, Ayers is 15 and the subject of the Amber Alert. Dana Lee Rider is the sex offender in question. He served almost 5 years in prison for third-degree assault on a teen.

Police believe Wesley Ayers is not safe with a registered sex offender like Rider.
Since Rider is allegedly committing antisocial acts like stealing cars after 5 years of prison, the cops are probably right.
